The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of California San Diego ( http://anes-som.ucsd.edu/ ) seeks to recruit several faculty members.  Opportunities exist primarily in the clinical series at the assistant, associate, and full professor ranks..Salary based on published UC pay schales.

 All positions will require excellence in patient care and clinical teaching and a commitment to creative activity.  Subspecialty expertise in chronic pain mangagement or obstetric anesthesia would be desirable. The successful candidates will be given the opportunity to participate in and develop clinical research protocols and to establish independent funding.

Applicants for all positions must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.  A California Medical License is required.
